Laravel is a PHP web framework for software artisans. It uses the Model, View, Controller method, and has many features built-in that makes building your application much faster.
Webflow is a visual design tool for building responsive websites. It makes building custom HTML and CSS designs easy and fun.
Tailwind CSS is "a utility-first CSS framework for rapidly building custom designs." I love Tailwind for building HTML templates out quickly and accurately.
Nuxt is an incredible framework for building websites and applications with Vue. I am using Nuxt for the frontend of this website.
Tailwind UI is a UI component framework for Tailwind CSS. I am using it on this website. From my experience, it is well worth the investment.
"PHP is a popular general-purpose scripting language that is especially suited to web development. Fast, flexible, and pragmatic, PHP powers everything from your blog to the most popular websites in the world." Although PHP can be looked down on, using PHP with Laravel is a wonderful experience.
Git is incredible. When I first started learning git, I was scared of being in the command line, but over time, I have realized how wonderful a tool git is for version control and collaboration.
GitHub is my tool of choice for storing my git repositories in the cloud.
WordPress is a popular Content Management System for blogs and company websites. I don't like WordPress personally, but I've done work with it, and occasionally I share things that mention it.
Ghost CMS is a wonderful minimalistic CMS that makes it easy to host and write a blog. I love the writing experience in Ghost, which reminds me of Medium, but better because the content is owned by the creator.
Gatsby is a front-end React framework that makes it easy to develop static websites using React. It is one of the best static site generators available, and takes many of the details out of the process, to make building your website much faster.
Netlify is a new "JAM Stack" focused hosting provider, which I love. They make provisioning and deploying frontend applications simple and fun.
Heroku is an affordable hosting provider that helps make provision literally any tech stack to the cloud easy.
Digital Ocean is my first choice when I'm considering where to deploy applications to the cloud. They have consciously made the decision to simplify their offering, and focus on the needs of developers over doing everything, which I have seen with Azure and AWS.
